Reviews
How to Play the Ukulele is a perfect guide for throwing in your ukulele case and carrying around with you. It contains a very eclectic selection of songs ranging from old slave spirituals to ragtime, to jazz and mild rock as well as a few Hawaiian songs. Most of the key chords are covered, and there is adequate material for practice. Some of the songs are obscure, so you might have to look them up on YouTube to figure out the rhythm and voice of the melody. An excellent little guide for carrying around if you travel as much as I do. Probably somewhat less useful for a fixed classroom setting or someone who is trying to learn on their own.
